GRASS is a geographic information system program. This looked useful for the science courses I'm teaching. The installation went smoothly onto my MAC OS 10.6 platform. When the program was opened, two text screens appeared in sequence. The second advised that there was an error in the GUI startup. Consequently, I can only award 1 star today. Hopefully, this will be fixed; a good GIS is important to have.
